Haiku Monday: Unexpected

Good afternoon folks,

Welcome to haiku Monday. It's been awhile since I've posted, so I thought I'd stirred things up a bit. Our host this week is Grumpy Granny and her topic "Unexpected" I have two to submit. The first is more serious, the second is for fun. I hope you enjoy them both.

The first scenario is more scary than the second.

That 2nd picture has been around for a long time. I laugh every time I see it. This one too:

Boxer: Thanks. I miss you blogging too. However I wouldn't want it to add to your stress level. Come back when you're comfortable, if not, an e-mail update is always more than welcome.

To accidentally boom or not to boom..
That is the question, eh?

Karl said...

BlazngScarlet: Thank you!

Foam: "Not to Boom", is the only answer. For "To boom", ends the game.

Good evening to you Foam. Nice to see you around.

If you decide to change your identity, please let me know. May I suggest, the world could always use another Lady Godiva;)

Aunty Belle, Foam,

Thanks for your concern. So far were doing fine. Mrs. K and the kids went inland earlier today and should be away from the brunt of the storm. We're at what is likely the height of the storm for us. Me, the cats and the fish. We've had 4 inches are rain so for today. Winds right now are 45 knots gusting to 60. As long as none of the rubber bands (1 1/4" dock lines) break. High tide was 1/2 hour ago and the surge was below expectations. So it should be getting better. Regardless, never complain until the water reaches your lower lip.
