Milk River Madman is our host this week, while Anonymous Boxer takes a break from hosting. If you wish to play. Post a clip on your site. Try to make it 3 minutes or less, then stop by MRM's site say I'm up, with the title of your movie. You can also see who else is playing. The topic for this week is: Best Saturday Night Live spin off. I chose Animal House mainly because I don't think I watched Saturday Night Live much after the passing of John Belushi. I may have seen it once since Chevy Chase left. Animal House may not exactly fit the topic, but the clips are fun to watch.
I put up a profile picture as a joke for a comment over at Moi's. The question is should I keep it? Does having a profile picture (whether it be an accurate representation of the person or not) make folks more comfortable? Y'all have a good day.

I love the guitar sketch! I think Animal House totally qualifies. Such a shame about Belushi too -- think what the world has missed because he died so young.
Pam: Yes, like so many young talents. Such an unfortunate waste of potential.
Oh HELL YES!! Love this movie. I saw it in the theater my Freshman year of college. Mr. Boxer and I still quote lines from this movie. Sooooo many great scenes to pick and I like what you found.
Happy MCW!
Love the Clips Karl,
Belushi was such a talent...
I saw this a long time ago... and bought back memories of youth and laughing my head off throughout the movie...
Boxer: This is probably a movie that every freshman girl should see, forewarned is forearmed. Toga,Toga,Toga
Princess: Yes, he was.
One of the best things about this movie, was that it made you laugh out loud.
I hope the weekend will have you laughing out loud too, Karl, not battening down the hatches. Here's hoping Earl goes elsewhere. P.S. I say keep the pic!
eggy
I love watching that movie..although it leaves me wistful thinking about the loss of Bulisshi.
Eggy: Thanks, If the forecast holds, it looks like we're in the clear. Although I feel for the folks on the Outer Banks and up in Cape Cod. It looks like they're going to get hit pretty hard.
Jackie Sue: He took his talent and he threw away.
My mom's best friend and our sometimes babysitter took me and my brother to see this at an age where we probably shouldn't have. Loved it then, love it now.
And, yes, I like your profile picture. Keep it, unless there's something else more representative of you. Which, hopefully, won't be a windful of Earl. You battening down?
Moi: I can see where some of your musical taste may come from, an early exposure to Louie Louie and Shout.
By the way, I knew that tune from your comment as soon as it was put to music, it's the first time I've seen the video. Thanks.
Something a little bit more representative. How is this one?
I didn't answer your question did I. The weather service just upped the wind forecast. But we should be OK.
LOVE the new profile picture and I liked the other one too.
have a great weekend!
Yes, a profile pic is VERY important.
Choose wisely, lol !
I think this is a strech for the theme (and would actualy be better for next week' theme because there was a TV series called Delta House) but I love this movie and it always makes me laugh.
I don't think you can truely judge a profile picture without looking at the posotive qualities in it. Bwahahaha Keep it Karl, Mermaids are always good. I've actually been thinking about changing mine. Maybe I'll blog on that.
Boxer: Thanks. Have a great time on the island this weekend.
Heff: I think I did, perhaps you could teach me how to make the sharks swim around over top of the diver in the mermaid.
Buzz Kill: I nearly did Ghostbusters but I liked animal house better.
I do find it interesting. How important profile pictures seem to be. It would be a good topic for a post.
How's your pneumonia doing? Hope you're feeling better.
LOL. One of a kind! This is too funny. I wish they'd make SNL funny again. Or is it me who has changed? Not sure.
Keri
Keri: Gee whiz, I wouldn't know if it's funny or not. If I'm awake that late on a Saturday night, I'm out tapping my toes. Thanks for stopping by.
Whoa--ya dodged that 'cane. Happy ya ain't spendin' today in the aftermath...whew!
Animal House? A rite of passage, doan'cha think?
Keep the mantis--it's funny.
Hi Karl. Thank you so much for the birthday wishes. I wanted to let you know that I'm back. I was waiting for today to be the jumping-back-in point. :)
