Milk River Madman is our host this week, while Anonymous Boxer takes a break from hosting. If you wish to play. Post a clip on your site. Try to make it 3 minutes or less, then stop by MRM's site say I'm up, with the title of your movie. You can also see who else is playing. The topic for this week is: Movie turned into a TV show. I can think of a lot of these mash flipper which have already used 12:00 high is another I decided to go with Topper. Topper (1937) is a comedy film which tells the story of a stuffy, stuck-in-his-ways man who is haunted by the ghosts of a fun-loving married couple. Cary Grant is in the first one unfortunately I couldn't find any good clips with him. There were several sequels to this movie and television show during the 1950s. I remember watching reruns of the show as a kid. I was likely to young to understand the humor, yet I remember liking the program. I also think the chances of a jinx are slim. Hope you enjoy them.

Hi Karl,
I didn't recall this movie/tv show til seing it here. It was good old fashioned fun and for it's time the special effects were pretty well ahead of themselves.
I remember many a wet saturday morning sitting on the couch watching Topper...
Thanks for the walk down memory lane..

Aunty Belle: Funny how we forget some of these shows. Pam mentioned, the Odd Couple the show and movie would've been perfect for this topic. Yet it never came to mind. Maybe I should look into B-vitamins.
Topper was a TV Show? I had no idea and I can't wait to tell Mr. Boxer because it is one of his favorite movies. What a gem and thank you for the tip.
Happy MCW on Friday. Let me also say: happy Friday! I hope you have a great weekend.
Never even heard of it, lol.
Boxer: As usual the movie was better than the television show. If he finds them I think he'll enjoy them.
Happy Monday to you.
Heff: That doesn't surprise me. But, that's why I'm here to help expand your horizons and expose you to new and different things.
