Movie Clip Wednesday: Best 1990's movie

Milk River Madman is our host this week, while Anonymous Boxer takes a break from hosting. If you wish to play. Post a clip on your site. Try to make it 3 minutes or less, then stop by MRM's site say I'm up, with the title of your movie. The topic for this week is: The best movie of the 1990s. There were many good ones I decided on using True Lies. True Lies is a 1994 American action-comedy film directed by James Cameron and starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jamie Lee Curtis, Tom Arnold, Bill Paxton, Tia Carrere, Charlton Heston, and Art Malik. This was a fun movie and many of the scenes hit about 75% on the BS meter, yet it had plenty of action a couple of good dance scenes and lots of laughs.

An entertaining choice. I must admit I watched this movie about a year ago on a cold, wet, gloomy winter day. I NEVER watch these sorts of movies but this one was LOL funny.

It's like Hugh Grant, in the beginning I could not figure out why anyone watched him play the same idiot in every movie. Then I actually watched one and decided he probably is a comic genius.

How could I forget Arnie? True Lies, Total Recall, Terminator and a whole host of action adventures that you had laughing and terrified from one minute to the next. A great all-action hero :)

Goodness, is it Movie Clip Wednesday already? Wow. I'm working way too hard.

I'm sorry, Karl, I adore you, but I simply cannot tolerate Arnold Schwarzenegger. Although, I did think True Lies was very clever . . .

i always got mad at myself for enjoying any movies with Arnold in them..but he always delivered the goods.

Moi: Work...it's the curse of the drinking class. Yet, it's good that you have it.

He's a classic American story; pot smoking, steroid taking, immigrant, makes good. It really was the entire cast that made True Lies a good film, Jamie Lee Curtis and Tom Arnold were a big part of the film funny.

Jackie Sue: Why get mad for finding someone or something entertaining. If you enjoy it that's all that matters.

Karl said...

Moi: that should be: big part of what makes the film funny.

Classic stuff and another one of those that we will stop and watch when it comes around on the remote-control-clicking..... Tom Arnold is a scream and steals the show.

I was really hoping for the Jamie Lee Curtis "black bra & panty" scene.

Maybe next time.

Karl said...

Pam: Yes, he did steal the show.

Heff: Just for you my friend http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iFj5MTp4lLo
