Milk River Madman is our host this week, while Anonymous Boxer takes a break from hosting. If you wish to play. Post a clip on your site. Try to make it 3 minutes or less, then stop by MRM's site say I'm up, with the title of your movie. The topic for this week is: Best Sequel.

This is the first of five sequels to the movie, The Thin Man. After the Thin Man is a 1936 American film, starring William Powell, Myrna Loy, and James Stewart. The movie presents Powell and Loy as characters Nick and Nora Charles. These two are some of my favorite movie character's. They're funny and the chemistry between the two of them is hard to beat. Not to mention Myrna loy is pretty easy to look at. Someone tell me, why don't women dress like this anymore?

Great choice Karl my man. Myrna Loy was a native Montanan who was born about 50 miles from where I live. The Myrna Loy Center is in Helena and is very cool. Took a tour of it many years ago and included the link for you. How about a young James Stewart in that trailer. Happy MCW.

MRM: I didn't know she was from Montana. Thanks for the link, it was interesting to visit. They have a great bio on her.

Life prevented me from participating this week but I really wanted to see what you all came up with. I love the Thin Man series. Happy MCW!

I have never seen any of the Thin Man series. I remember you used it for the best alcohol scene (and there they were drinking again in this clip) so there must be something to these movies. I will have to make it a point to try and see one.

Happy MCW!

Joanna: Yes they are.

Boxer: Glad you found time to come around. Sometimes real life is darn inconvenient.

Buzz Kill: They're definitely good for a grin. If you decide to watch one, start with the Thin Man. It's the first one.

G'day Karl! Don't forget about the picnic throwdown! Tis the last weekend before the deadline. Have a great weekend!

Heff: Sir, expand your horizons. These films classics.

LaDiva: I'm working on it. Unfortunately next week, I will be in an area that I've never been before. The map says, I will have connectivity, but until you put your boots on the ground and boot up you never know.

I was wondering if you are doing the picnic throwdown Karl? I said: "Hey, where's Karl?" Oh well, next time! Have a good one, matey!
