Anonymous Boxer's is our host, her choice for this week is funny scene. So this week I give you two, first is a scene from a Bob Hope movie called The Ghost Breakers and second is a clip from College Humor.
OMG, that is hysterical indeed! I have never seen that movie either ... which is surprising since I was raised on old Bob Hope movies. And squirrel fights -- well, appropriate as well!
no wonder the brits are pissed about our gray squirrels over running their docile reds. bob hope movies. classy cool and timeless. great choices. happy MCW!
Zombies are GO! So is Bob Hope, whom I've always adored. And let's just pause for a moment to admire how awesomely cool and classy Paulette Goddard's dress is. Why, oh why, do we women not get to dress like that today?
bawhahahahhaha! Karl, I've gone down the list of watching the clips tonight, and my cheeks were already sore from giggling at them all, but I actually snorted at the squirrels. Snorted, Karl.
Big Shamu: Welcome. Noisy, yes they are. Although neither one seems worse for wear. I seem to remember something about a certain launching device, so I guess you can attest to the resiliency the squirrel.
Buzz Kill: I can't remember whether I've seen the whole movie or not. I've seen so many they kind of run together.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA!
I have never seen either of these movies ... but I think I need to!
Squirrel fight! Too cool.
Happy MCW!
Funny on both counts Karl. Fighting squirrels are always funny.
I. Can't. Tell. You. How. Much. I. LOVE. That. Clip!
Probably Ad-Libbed by the Secretariat of Comedians. The immortal Bob Hope!
Happy MWC.

Bob Hope had a great way of incorporating current humor into his movies, I love him and loved the "Road" movies too.
That squirrel fight is extra funny! Great footwork by the one on the right. bwahahahaah.
Id not come across that Bob Hope movie either. Great stuff!
Pam: I too was raised on Hope. My brother and I use to be able to do most of the bits from the road movies by heart.
Savannah: You're welcome.
Chickory: Maybe it has to do with the redcoats. He is indeed timeless.
BlazngScarlet: I would think that Netflicks would have most of Bob Hope's movies.
xl: Yes, they were a hoot.
MRM: Glad you liked them.
Troll: I kind of figured you would find it entertaining.
Moi: That is a question, I would love to know the answer to.
Boxer: Amazing that he could see so far ahead.
He has an affective Haymaker too.
Joanna: Thank you
Noisy little bastid squirrels. Boxer said it was a Squirrel Death Match. I keep falling for her lies.
I have seen this clip several times but not the rest of the movie. And this is definitely Trol's cup of tea. Hope, king of the one liners.
Happy MCW!

Thanks, and Happy MCW.

Kym: I'm so glad it achieved the desired effect.
