These are beautiful pics. I'd love to see a ray that big and that close.

Happy Mute Monday!

This almost makes me want to go diving. Almost. Except for that panic attack thing I would have. Gorgeous photos. Happy MM!

I was just watching the movie "The Abyss" the other day and your pics reminded me of it. The ROVs are really cool submarine technology.

Happy MM!

Hah! I'm with Pam. Snorkeling is about all I can muster. The ocean is magnificent and awe-inspiring and beautiful and mysterious. And I'm glad I can appreciate it from the safety of terra firma with some sunscreen, a margarita, and a trash novel or two. Happy Mute Monday!

scuba is on my bucket list. I'd love to do this in the near future.

Happy MM Karl!

Troll: So would I, I've been in the water was some big rays. but not as big as that one.

Pam: Oh, come on in the water's fine.

Buzz Kill: No Hollywood here. That's all working technology. It is neat, some of the work that's getting done using ROVs and AUVs.

Moi: some of the best times I've had in the water have been snorkeling and a Margarita under a nice big umbrella is a great way to relax afterwards.

Kym: No need to wait dive on in.

of course this is your entry! that last photo is my favorite - kind of an edgy image. i loved the boy next door when i was 10 and he was 18. one day he didnt come home: died in an underwater cave. snorkling has always been enough for me. great MM! have a good one!

Very pretty! :)

K9: Glad you liked it. I kinda have a soft spot for that one myself. It can be an unforgiving environment. Some of the best things to see, you can easily see with a snorkel.

Vixen: Thanks

So lovely. As I said somewhere else, I live by the sea but it's always brown :)

These were very peaceful and serene pictures Karl

Joanna: You're on the south coast right? It's always stirred up there and the tides exposing all the mud has to be part of it.

Kitty: Thanks
