The rescuebot is freaking me out. That thing looks like it would rip your head off. The shuttle in the sun is way cool and old Al Gore can generate enough gas to run his refrigerator full of Haagen Dazs.

Happy MM!

That poor pony! Great pics. But I think Al Gore cropped a few hundred pounds from his self-pic.

Buzz Kill: when I read the article about the rescuebot, the first thing that came to my head was; the probability of spinal injury while being pulled free.

Secretariat: That $400,000 truck is suppose to be a safer and more humane way to train racehorses. The horse doesn't pull it, it keeps pace with the horse. Al has a more intelligent look on his face than normal also.

Great take on the theme, but why is the cow wearing a pink backpack?

Karl said...

Pam: That's Al Gore he's collecting greenhouse gases. It's not a backpack, it's a gas tank.

Major cool and dumbfoundingly eclectic at the same time LOL

The brain mapping thingee is pretty cool. Oh, and Al's an insult to moo cows everywhere. Happy, happy!

Karl said...

Gadfly: I guess, I achieve the desired effect.

Moi: Yes, if they can make the technology work. Al is an insult to most anything. And I'm always happy, can't you tell?

Wow. The rescuebot freaks me out too... all I can think is; this helps? At first I thought these were all fake photos. I'm not sure what is worse... that they are or aren't. Nicely done and happy MM!

Brilliant! That first one is really interesting!

Boxer: The rescuebot does seem a little out there. But then again if the scene of an accident is too dangerous for first responders to go into. The bot may be able to get the injured out, without putting anyone else at risk. That's the idea behind it.

Vixen: Thank you. When I first saw the Kurtsystems Horse-Training Car I thought this must be Al Gore's idea of everybody else's green car (he wouldn't drive one, the carbon footprint would be too small) well I was wrong it's actually a better and safer way to train racehorses. Among other things it actually monitors the heart rate of the horse and can give it oxygen.

Merry Christmas Karl!!

Merry Christmas Karl. I've got to look up that crazy horse-rating car. Stranger ideas have worked.

Karl said...

Aunty Belle: I was a little surprised no one else mentioned Popeye, what does he have to do with science and technology. Well you see, I was using Popeye to depict me testing the science of gravity last spring and the resulting long-term relationship I’ve developed with surgeons and therapists.

Troll: here's a link to the article: http://www.popsci.com/scitech/article/2009-09/high-tech-horse-training
Whether it really works, well time will tell.

To all of You: have a Very Merry Christmas!
