So Monday the checks start going out to stimulate the economy or let's increase the national debt to make everybody feel good. This is a politically conceived and poorly implemented plan (both parties are to blame) to solve a problem of our own making.

We keep doing business people whose ultimate goal is to do us harm.

If you receive one of these checks best thing to do would be to send it back to IRS, with instructions to use it to pay down the debt. If you feel you must keep the check and you have any debt of your own, pay that down.

If you feel the need to spend the money, spent it on something that you really need and will do good here , something that says: Made in the USA.

The analysts keeps saying: our fuel prices are rising because of the increased demand in China and India. Our outsourcing created that demand, we need to slow their economies to support our own.

On a side note: regarding the issue in the Persian Gulf today we need to kill a few of these people before we have another: USS Cole on our hands.

I'M GOING TO USE MINE FOR VACATION. I THINK IT WILL DO A WORLD OF GOOD. REST= NON-MURDERER.
BUT I COMPLETELY AGREE WITH YOU... LET'S COMPLAIN ABOUT OUR DEBT AND THEN GIVE AWAY MONEY

I only ever get to pay out money - i never get any these checks I hear about. Either I'm not qualified for the "free money" (yeah, i'm being sarcastic) or mine gets rerouted elsewhere.

I agree with you on this. Slapping a band-aid on a gushing wound. Another "short on long term vision" example.

Jenn: I do hope you and your daughter can work this all out. Enjoy your vacation a calm mind can deal better with adversity and an excited one.

Lakota: Thanks, I guess that's my point where has all the vision gone.

Agreed!

I try not to buy anything that says "Made in China."
