Happy Boxing Day!

Sorry I didn't get over here yesterday...was slightly distracted.

No, unfortunately, Robert Downey Jr was not under my Christmas tree. I'm still sulking.

It was a fine day, even if I didn't grok to the fact that my party host was cooking with a conVECTION oven. Hence, we overcooked a 15 pound prime rib roast. Thankfully, it was tender, juicy, and delicious. And there was also lots of tequila.

I see you folks are getting pounded by the white stuff. I hope it's not causing too much of an annoyance for you all. Do you have a fireplace in El Barco?

K9: Isn't eating too much on Christmas an American duty. I laughed that the "indestructible" toy. We had a fine time, thank you.

Moi: I'm glad to hear you had a good day. And that you didn't have to go out and find a Denny's

We lucked out and only got about 4 inches. And the wind is blowing so hard, it cleared everything off. This morning the docks were almost completely clear, as was my truck. Nope, no fireplace, a few safety issues, perhaps someday.

Karl,
well I certainly have discovered high winds combined with extreme low temperatures, ice and snow is NOT to my liking. Tonight we have an expected low of 17 degrees. Ouch.

I would have failed at pioneering 101 if it included months of cold, snow and ice. I'm on day three and am checking availability of flights to Florida. Just call me whimp.

Hope your boat is tight and warm.
Glad your Chritmas was joyful. See you at Boxer's party!
