Movie Clip Wednesday

Who Milk River Madman is our host this week, while Anonymous Boxer takes a break from hosting. If you wish to play. Post a clip on your site. Try to make it 3 minutes or less, then stop by MRM's site say I'm up, with the title of your movie. The topic for this week is: Best opening scene. Now I'm sure I will blog jinx with a bunch of folks so I've chosen an older scene in the hope of avoiding direct matches. The James Bond 007 series of movies are famous for their openings scenes. My favorite Bond was Sean Connery. Although I don't think I disliked any of the others. As long as you don't try to think too hard there a fun series of films to watch. In this one, I think the seagull snorkel-camouflage on his head is an absolute hoot and when he opens his dry suit to expose the tuxedo underneath, anyone who has ever climbed into a dry suit can tell you it just doesn't work that way. Anyhow, I hope you enjoy the clip.

Could someone please give me a suggestion as to how to get my links and stuff, back on the sidebar. They jump down to the bottom of the page two posts ago and I can't seem to make them go back to the sidebar.

Good choice Karl. Love how everyone is running out of the club except the two guys who knew about the explosion. Great line from the movie Bond "Do you expect me to talk Goldfinger?" GF "No Mr. Bond, I expect you to die." When my buddy EJ and I are golfing we both say "Strict rules of golf Goldfinger?" Awesome. Happy MCW

I'm not a fan of most of the Bond movies that came after Dr. No, but Goldfinger rose to the original's greatness. Happy Movie Clip Wednesday!

MRM: Yeah you're right, that wouldn't draw the attention would it.

Moi: I can understand.

More Bond! I'm really enjoying this week's theme if for nothing else it seems to really BOND WEEK. Mr. Boxer is a big fan and I know many won't like me for saying this, but I also like the Daniel Craig ones too.

Happy MCW!

Shocking! Great scene. As you can imagine, Bond is required viewing at my house. Connery was the best as sexy playboy Bond. Moore was best at dry wit and clever gadgets Bond. Craig the best at brute strength Bond. Timothy Dalton best as Angry Bond. Pierce Brosnan best as ... I don't know, he's kinda forgettable to me.

I still like Sean Connery..and the new bond is hot..sometimes when my stuff gets rotated to the bottom it's because I had a picture too big or the title of the post was too big..that's all the help I can give.

Gert Fröbe, one of the greatest super villians ever. He was married 5 times and played Baron Bomburst in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. And Madman is right, that's the best Bond quote ever.

It's been a Bondbastic MCW! *groan*

Boxer: This week is outstanding for the number of blog jinx's. Joanna also had a bond clip up. If you like Daniel Craig that's fine with me. I have to admit I haven't seen his yet.

Pam: Easy to tell that movie was made before ground fault interrupters. You categorized them well.

Jackie Sue: I deleted the post that cause the problem, but it didn't fix it. And this week is the first time I figured out how to put a title on a post. Thanks for the suggestion.

Aunty Belle: I'll get around a seeing Craig's portrayal sometime soon. Glad you liked clip.

Buzz Kill: Sir, you have an outstanding talent for movie trivia.

Yellowdog Granny is on the right track. The sidebar stuff being shoved to the bottom is due to some sort of post-width issue. Even though you removed the post that caused the problem, the width settings may not have re-set. Without me being able to get in your layout settings to check it out, I can't really guess what to fix though.

Screw around with your layout settings for a little while, and maybe you can find the problem.

Jackie Sue and Heff: Thank you both for your suggestions, you were correct. It was the picture of President Obama and Paul McCartney that caused the problem. Now I have another reason as to why that picture pisses me off every time I see it.

Sorry I haven't been around. Since Tuesday I've been unable to login or visit any sites affiliated with blogger. I still don't know what caused the problem.
