That was total time travel. It's weird to see how far we have come as a society and what rights we have earned and been given since those days.

Very clever interpretation. Schools aren't segregated now?

Happy MM!

Not sure where you are but I love historic sites like this. Walking the path that people walked hundreds of years ago is really cool. Trying to imagine their thoughts and situations is really interesting to me. This is kind of like the time travel I did.

Happy MM!

Wow. Very cool path and very cool use for Mute Monday.

It's sobering, isn't it?

Rage: Yes, so many rights we have earned, it amazes me how many so are willing to give them away.

Troll: No of course they're not. You know the government make's sure, that all children are poorly educated, regardless of race color or creed.

Buzz Kill: Its historic Williamsburg, the first real capital of the Virginia colony, the largest the richest and most powerful of the original 13 Colonies. When walking down the street there you're walking in the footsteps of the likes of George Washington and Thomas Jefferson.

The bridge that the monuments are in takes you from the visitor center into the historic area.

If you ever have the opportunity it is well worth a visit. I think it's about 5 hours south of you may be 6.

Boxer: Thanks and yes it is. There are many lessons one can learn there.
