Are these places you've been or lived or just favorites. I spent many months across the Severn River from the Naval Academy. I did work in the Navy Boat Basin there. Ah, fond memories.

Happy MM!

Buzz Kill: I have been a local at these places, well within a few miles of them.

At David Taylor or the YP basin?

Wow, Karl, youse moved around some, huh?

All lovely--I hope ya took FULL advantge of the locales (not the locals!)

Happy MM!

The YP basin. The company I worked for did a bunch of overhauls on the YPs and I was one of the mechanics. Air Conditoning systems mostly. I had a ring-side seat there for the Blue Angels at graduation time.

America the Beautiful! Sigh.
I really appreciate your blog has listings to contact the different branches of government with an invite to tell those disassociated Washingtonians what we think.

Karl said...

Aunty Belle: yes I have moved around a bit. The best advantage, I could.

Buzz Kill: Neat, I hope it was a good job for you. It's one of the best seats in the house for the show.

Troll: The others are; The Mojave Desert, Oklahoma City, Washington, DC. Long Beach California, Cheyenne Wyoming, Phoenix Arizona, Eleuthera Bahamas and Annapolis Maryland.

Fishy: I think a lot of folks take the U.S. for granted, everyone should get a chance to leave it and stay somewhere else for a while. It brings a whole new sense of appreciation on your return.

No better time than now to send a message.

I thought I recognized OKC! Interesting shot, the K-M building isn't usually so lit up. When were you living in my neck of the woods? Thanks for stopping by today. I've also been to a pub called the cricketers.

Karl said...

Pam: I last lived there in the late seventies. I haven't visited since the mid nineties. Long story.

Was it in Worthing?

youre a nomadic! all lovely places through your eyes. happy MT.

Moi: Yes, St. Louis is underrated. yet it pales in comparison to the Mojave. Had I not taken to the water, that's where I would be.

K9: I have found few places that cannot be lovely, once looked at with the right point of view.
