Aha, good old-school depictions of the fictional King. And a near blog-jynx.

Happy MM!

you and Buzz are very clever with the word this week. Love these pictures. Even though I wouldn't have wanted to live during this time, I really love the clothes, art, etc.

Happy MM!

Good Evening Karl,
I love the stories of Arthur..... loved most of the stories where good prevails, just cannot understand how we got here ...... did someone misplace excalibur?

Buzz Kill: Didn't mean jinx you. I'm ignorant of Blogger superstition, what would happen?

Troll: There are times when old-school fiction can help to motivate new learners in the right direction.

Aunty Belle: Thank you.

Moi: Thanks, so have I.

Boxer: Yes, I guess we were. By the grace of Merlin, I didn't jinx Buzz Kill.

I agree with you, just think what it would be like trying to find a decent meal. I'm looking forward to seeing the display of the recent find in England of "Saxon Gold".

Fishy: Not misplaced, in the care of the Lady of the Lake. The last picture depicts Sir Belvedere returning it to the Lady of the Lake after Arthur's death. No one worthy of wielding Excalibur has yet to come forward.

Happy Mute Monday!

Happy MM, Karl. Well done.

Very good. King Arthur had to be among my most read heroes. I still wonder about some of it. And, I think it was more than a mere story if, like all tales, more common explanations would not have been as enjoyable to read.

Happy Mute Monday!

LOL, Another Arthur! Great idea x

Kym: I hope it's OK to refer you as Kym, I have seen it used elsewhere. Thanks, it's one of my favorites too

Doom: So true and as with any story as it gets passed down the line gets bigger and better. In Bath there is a hall that has a round table that they swear is "The Round Table" It' interesting to think about, but hard to prove.

Joanna: Glad you liked it.
