Bow-tie Pasta
Heff's is the host, why don't you go see.
My entry:
Bow-tie pasta with fried eggs and cheese.
This is quick and easy. A favorite of young and old . Season the pasta simply with the best olive oil, salt, pepper, chives and Gruyere cheese. Make sure the serving plates are hot.
Bring 3qt. of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta to the boiling water and cook for about twelve minutes.
While the pasta is cooking, put olive oil chives salt and pepper in a bowl large enough to hold cook pasta. When the pasta is ready remove half cup of the cooking water and added to the bowl. Drain the pasta well added to the bowl and toss well.
For the garnish: fry two eggs over easy per person. Spoon 6oz. of pasta onto each plate, sprinkle on a heaping spoonful of cheese and place the two eggs on top of the pasta. Add a little more cheese and pasta and serve with the egg yoke visible. Serve immediately.
Ingredients (serves 4):
12oz. of Bow-tie pasta.
¼ cup extra virgin olive oil.
2tbsp. of minced fresh chives.
1/2tsp. of salt.
1/2tsp. of pepper.
2tbsp. unsalted butter.
8 large eggs.
About 11/2 cups of grated Gruyere.
Enjoy!

I think this sounds eazy and tasty, but I'm such a bad cook I must have photos. :-)
God. I'm starving. Gimme some NOW!
Sounds super yummy. I didn't participate, but I can see I'll have lots of dishes to choose from for tonight's supper.
wait. where is "donna"? grrrrherherhahaha. er, where are the pictures? it does sound really good -pure. uncluttered by too many ingredients. well done!
Good evening all: Yes indeed it is yummy. My apologies for not including the picture in the original post.(I had no idea how difficult getting the picture was going to be) There is now one posted and a link to the entire book the recipe originally came from.
The recipe takes about as long to prepare as it does to prepare the pasta. If you say you want fast food, this is the sort of recipe I would look at.
Comfort food! Sounds like a winner to me! Especially nice that even a non-cook could make it.
