I Smile 2 Much was kind enough to interview me. Well, I think kind is term. Thank you, for taking the time to think them up, you lovely woman.

Anyway here you go:

1.) If you could go back to any historical time- where and when would it be? Who would you want to watch, see and be around? Why?

From where it began until today and everywhere, if I could travel through time being omni-present for the entire history and seeing everywhere. What an opportunity, to be able to see for myself what truly happen. Learning exactly how Stonehenge was used, seeing the pharoses, the conquests of Alexander, Cook's landing in the Sandwich Islands(Hawaii), the carnage of the battles of Shiloh or Gettysburg . If I had the power to see any of it, I would have to see it all.

2.) Your favorite author is who? Why? The books that least peak your interest are what kinds of books? What book have you re-read the most?

I don’t really have favorites, at any one time I likely have at least two books going. Some authors that I enjoyed the most are David McCullough, James Lee Burke, Carl Hiaasen, Bernard Cornwell and Doug Adams. I would not be likely to pick up a romance novel. Unless it’s a reference book, an operational or training manual, I don’t re-read books.

3.) What is something about yourself that most people would be surprised to know about you? What are your 2 best memories from 2008? What are your three best personality traits about yourself?

I have sung the Star Spangled Banner in public (a cappella, didn’t have to duck a single rotten tomato). The safe return of 4 family members from their respective tours of duty, all happy and healthy. Breaking a six minute mile, again. Honesty, loyalty and diligence.

4.) What's your favorite holiday and why? If you had to eat the same thing for an entire week ... what 3 food would it be? What is your LEAST favorite food that you refuse to eat?

Fourth of July: it is the celebration freedom of this nation. The nation that gives me the right to freely speak to the folks I visit and the folks that come here. (we should not forget this, nor refrain from defending the right) Fish, spinach and pasta. Not partial to liver.

5.) What is the sexiest thing about a female? What's the most attractive thing a woman can wear in front of you? What are your 2 biggest turn ons? What is your biggest turn off? What would you like to do sexually that you haven't yet?

Her mind, well at leased after I get my eyes off her chest and start concentrating. A smile. See the two previous items (barring that leather and rope aren’t bad). Anything fake would be a turnoff. Having been at this for a while, I can’t think of the thing.

Well there you have it, if you’re interested in playing the rules are below.

1. Leave a comment saying, "Interview me."
2. I'll respond by emailing you 5 ?s. I get to pick the questions.
3. Update your blog with the answers to the questions.
4. Include this explanation & offer to interview someone else.
5. If others ask to be interviewed, ask them 5 questions.

He does have an interesting way to put a humorous twist on a book, twist being the operative word.

From the answer you left over at my place, I had a sneaking suspicion that Doug Adams was one of your favorites :-)

Karl said...

Suldog: Well sir, you have made the connection. I'm interested to see your answer to the equation.

Thanks for stopping by.

I think anything fake would be a turn off for me too if I was a guy. I have no fake parts. I think you've seen everything.

I re-read books all the time. Some books I've read 10 times.

Karl said...

Mariposa: glad you liked it.

I'd love to,someday.

Karl said...

Kate:One of the most likable things about you, is that you are so real, inside and out.

Good questions and lovely answers.

I'd like to see the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the Wright Brothers fly. And I would like to be one of the first people to see the Statue of Liberty.

I always re-read books. I have hundreds and I trade them too.

Karl said...

Rage: Shucks ma'am twernt nothing. I'm glad you're doing better.

Karl said...

Kate: These days, I have to find a book very special to keep it.
I used to keep books, but storage became such a problem, now I give most of them away once I've read them.

Good answers! A singer...a
cappella no less...I'm impressed!

And if you want to interview me...by all means...I have been a real slacker on my blog of late.

Karl said...

Breve: Thanks. I’m not sure I’d call myself a singer; I have a pretty limited repertoire.

Ah, another [victim] interview, I will put some questions together and e-mail them to you.

That is so cool that you sang the Star Spangled Banner in public...I didn't know that you could sing. Impressive.
