Happy Veterans Day!

Veterans Day, formerly known as Armistice Day, was originally set as a U.S. legal holiday to honor the end of World War I, which officially took place on November 11, 1918, 90 years ago today.

By striking out the word "Armistice" and inserting the word "Veterans." Nov. 11 became a day to honor American veterans of all wars.

Remember: If you can read this thank a teacher, if you can read this in English thank a Vet!

A few good ways show your appreciation for their service:

Redcross is good. I've been in a flood and they helped us.

Redcross also teaches CPR and First Aid. And I thank Vets all the time. My Daddy was a Vet, even though I didn't get to know him, but he was.
